​Thank you for visiting our family vacation site.  Our goal with this site is to educate and invigorate you on the possibilities that this beautiful world offers.  You won't find our vacation pics on fb or social media because that is not our style.  In fact, we maintain this website as the antithesis of "lifestyle bragging."  

 

Social media today has caused an insidious trend of making braggadocio almost the norm.  It's easy to forget that sharing your favorite moments with your network could just as easily be interpreted as bragging.  That is not us.  We believe that life is all about capturing every moment and making the most of it.  Who cares if people "like" what we're doing, we do it because it's what we want to spend the precious limited moments of our lives doing!  We love to travel and take off-the-beaten path adventures.  We love our nights camping in our tent and hanging around a warm campfire, along with tough mountain ascents on long hikes to beautiful hidden lakes.

 

Travel is our passion.  Living family life to its fullest is what fuels our hearts and makes all the mundane daily routines and jobs worth doing.  Unlike many in this world, we refuse to be "too busy making a living to make a life!"
